The unknown Galicia: Gardens Route

In the morning we will visit the city of Santiago de Compostela, a destination for pilgrims since the Middle Ages, including its beautiful gardens, some of them really old. In the afternoon we will visit the Manor houses of Oca and Santa Cruz de Ribadulla worthy exponents of the Galician Baroque palatial culture.

We will visit the Ría de Arousa, the largest and moRía de Arousast important low estuary ofGalicia, to visit the incredible pazos of La Saleta and Rubians with their gardens of “International Excellence” … and the beautiful medieval town of Cambados where we will have the opportunity to taste the famous Albariño wine.

Today we will go through our second estuary::  thePONTEVEDRA RIA… Visiting the magnificent city of PONTEVEDRA, considered one of the best cities in Europe to live in and the outstanding manor house of LOURIZÁN…

We will visit the last of the Rías Baixas to visit the city of VIGO and one of its hidden gems, the palace of CASTRELOS, where the oldest Galician camellia is located… and in the afternoon we will go to the beautiful castle of SOUTOMAIOR, scene of strife in the past and today exhibits impressive gardens …
