Our proposal

"His name (VINHO VERDE) is due to its youth, it is a wine in which the grapes have not matured, whether red or whiteI is an appreciated wine above all in summertime.His history takes us to the Middle Ages and to the monasteries that would be in charge of bringing the cultivation of wine to this area, curiously this wine will be the first in all Portugal to be known and appreciated outside of its borders..." day 1 THE RIVER MINHO

Following the course of the Río Miño we will visit the old fortresses of VALENÇA DO MINHO, MONÇÃO and MELGAÇO, including a visit to a local winery.

day 2 PONTE DE LIMA-ARCOS DE VALDEVEZ-VIANA DO CASTELO

Going into Portugal we will visit the beautiful towns of PONTE DE LIMA, ARCOS DE VALDEVEZ and VIANA DO CASTELO. Including a visit to a local winery.

day 3 BRAGA & BARCELOS

Today we will start with one of the oldest episcopal seats in the Iberian Peninsula: BRAGA, and then continue our tour with BARCELOS (and the curious history of its famous rooster) and the spectacular ESPOSENDE beach. includes a visit to a local winery.

day 4 GUIMARAES-VILA REAL-AMARANTE

We will visit the beautiful old city of GUIMARÃES (former Portuguese capital), VILA REAL and AMARANTE (founded on the banks of the Tâmega river). Includes a visit to one of the most emblematic wineries in Portugal … CASA DE MATEUS.

day 5 PORTO

Visit to PORTO, including a cruise on the Douro River and visit to a local winery for a WINE TASTING.
