WINE&HOT SPRINGS

A really  fun tour that will take us not only to taste the wines of the area but also to dive into the local hot springs.

We head towards the area of Ribeiro famous since Roman times for its wines and waters “caldas” (hot).

We left Santiago at an early hour to Ribavavia Ribeiro wine capital (that wine became a currency in the Middle Ages) where we will visit its interesting historical center. Ribadavia was one of the most important Jewish quarters in Galicia. Its ebraic past is reminded of monuments such as the old synagogue or the sweets of the Tahona de Herminia.

After the visit we go to the wineries included in our tour (Casal de Paula and Casal de Armán, where apart from the visit to the winery we will have the opportunity to taste the cuisine of its famous restaurant).

In the afternoon we will go to the Termas do Prexigueiro to enjoy its pools of natural thermal water in the open air.

Return to Santiago.
